Lesson Objective: Students will learn about how sound is produced and travels through different mediums.

Materials: pencils, a long piece of string/yarn (about 2 ft.), 2 metal spoons of different sizes, printed handouts (1 per partnership), wide popsicle sticks (2 per students), toothpicks (1 per student), rubber bands (2 per student)/string, paper, scissors
