los altos high chapter

The Los Altos High School chapter of STEMpathize was created in August 2024. The chapter has been running weekly workshops in an after-school program hosted in Almond Elementary School, Santa Clara County, since March.

Their purpose is to inspire the next generation to go into STEM while also training interns, helping them gain leadership skills and the necessary experience to effectively share their knowledge to the next generation to provide more opportunities to kids to enjoy a future in STEM.

In just one month, the Los Altos High School chapter has already taken massive strides toward its mission. More than 15 interns have joined, and more than 20 kids have signed up for their weekly workshops, where interns have been teaching their physics curriculum! They hope to continue their partnership with Almond Elementary School while also expanding to other local schools to spread their passion for STEM even further.
