ages 6-8: chemistry

Lesson Objective: Students will learn about the fundamentals of chemistry and elements of the periodic table. They will learn about the basic structure of individual atoms and the three states of matter.

Materials: periodic table & scavenger hunt handouts (1 copy per group), pencils, colored pencils, plastic water bottles & balloons (1 per group), baking soda, vinegar, spoons/funnels​
